Real estate has a long and complex history that dates back thousands of years. In ancient times, land was often considered a symbol of power and wealth, and was therefore highly prized. The concept of buying and selling land for profit can be traced back to the Roman Empire, where wealthy landowners would purchase large tracts of land and rent it out to tenant farmers.

Moving forward to the modern era, real estate has become one of the most vital industries worldwide. The advent of capitalism and the rise of industrialization led to a massive expansion of cities and the development of new housing and commercial properties. During the 20th century, the concept of real estate investment trusts (REITs) emerged, allowing investors to buy shares in large real estate portfolios.

 

My journey in real estate began in 2012 in Germany with a restaurant venture. Inspired by the potential in property development, I ventured into a project in Poland in 2014. By 2016, I seized an unseen opportunity to expand further in Asia.

Today, real estate continues to be a major driver of economic growth and development. The industry encompasses a wide range of activities, including buying and selling properties, developing new buildings, managing rental properties, and providing financing for real estate projects. With the rise of technology and the growing importance of sustainability and green building practices, the real estate industry is poised to continue evolving and adapting to changing market conditions.
